At check-in, you will be asked to sign a contract outlining the terms and conditions found on this website, and you will receive your keys.
- Check-out -- Check-out time is 11:30 am. Please ensure that your suite is left in a clean and orderly condition, and that all provided items remain on site. If the Cottage owners are not on hand at your departure, you may leave your key in the outside lockbox.
- Cancellation or early departure -- At the time of booking, $100 or half of your rental fee (whichever is higher) will be charged to your credit card, which will be retained by the owners if you cancel your booking with less than two-weeks advance notice. Upon the day of your arrival at the Cottage, the balance of your fee will be charged to your credit card. No fee will be refunded in the event that you depart before the end of your rental period, for whatever reason.

- Noise -- Guests are required to abide by local by-laws, and to respect neighboring properties. Excessive noise may result in guests being required to leave the property, without refund.
- Damage or loss --
Guests will be billed for any damage to the suite or property, or loss of items, that occurs during their stay.
Loss of Cottage keys will result in a $75 re-keying fee.
- Visitors -- Guests are welcome to have visitors during the day, but only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight in the suites. Guests are responsible for any loss or damage to the Cottage or Cottage property that is caused by their visitors.
- Liability -- The owners of The Cottage on the Thames are not liable for any loss or personal injury caused by the actions or negligence of guests.
- Terms of agreement -- The policies described above represent the terms of agreement pertaining to the use of the Cottage on the Thames. By booking a stay at the Cottage on the Thames you are acknowledging your acceptance of these terms. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the Cottage owners asking guests to leave before the end of their rental period. In this event, any unused days shall be treated as having been cancelled by the guests, and the guests shall have no claim against the Owner for compensation or reimbursement.
